We are seeking a dedicated and community-minded Municipal Ranger to support Council’s animal management and compliance functions.
Reporting directly to the Manager Environment and Municipal, this role is responsible for enforcing Council’s by-laws, monitoring compliance with legislation and policies, and delivering proactive animal management initiatives.
You will undertake a mix of enforcement, education, and community engagement – from issuing infringements and carrying out authorised officer duties to delivering animal management programs that promote responsible pet ownership and community safety.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team, helping to keep our community safe while promoting responsible animal ownership and protecting local amenity.
This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $82,018.64 per annum. The role includes generous leave entitlements, offering 6 weeks of annual leave and 3 weeks of personal leave (pro-rata).
