He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Auckland Council's Environmental Services Department has an opportunity for a Bio Information Analyst within the Bio Information team, part of the Natural Environment Specialist Services Group.
In this role, you'll manage and support regional biodiversity, biosecurity, and geological data and geospatial information services. A focus of the role will be data management relating to pest plants, alongside supporting Natural Environment Targeted Rate (NETR) projects and wider biodiversity programmes. Your work will directly inform planning, operational delivery, and reporting across the Auckland region.

This role requires experience in biodiversity, biosecurity, data, or environmental science roles, ideally within a large, complex, or public-sector environment.
