About the opportunity

If you’re available for an immediate start, we’d be very keen to hear from you. Our Grounds and Facilities Officers are Highly Valued members of the Holiday Parks Team.

This position will be responsible for providing general hand duties including cleaning, gardening and general maintenance to support the Shire’s popular Turners and Flinders Bay holiday parks and Alexandra Bridge camping ground.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, physical ability, and fitness to complete high demand manual work tasks. Experience in servicing and maintaining amenities, grounds and gardens is essential. Operating and maintaining garden equipment and an understanding of sewage systems are required.

Expressions of Interest – Grounds and Facilities Officer

  • IA negotiable hourly rate. Casual and/or part-time opportunities available. Casual loading 25% where applicable.
  • Plus attractive penalty provisions for weekends and public holidays & recreation centre membership.

  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining grounds and gardens and operating and maintaining garden equipment.

  • Demonstrated physical ability and fitness to complete high demand manual work tasks.
