Position Description

The Shire is enabled by the Local Government Act 1995 and its regulations. It operates under two industrial awards being Local Government Officers (Western Australia) Award and the Municipal Employees (Western Australia) Award.

Your role

As a member of the Finance team, you will provide:

• an efficient, courteous and professional service to internal and external clients and councillors.

• perform a wide range of book-keeping and accounting duties in an accurate and timely manner; and

• adhere to internal procedures and policies and legislation.

• Experience working in or with local government
