We are currently seeking applications for a Plant Operator in the Works section to operate and maintain Council’s plant and machinery in an efficient and safe manner. 

About the role 

This position is responsible for the safe and competent operation of licensed plant, including a front‑end loader, road roller and tractor slasher. The Operator will complete daily pre‑start checks, carry out basic preventative maintenance, and ensure machinery is kept clean and in good working order. The role may also require overtime and attendance at after‑hours emergency call‑outs when needed.

The gross fortnightly wage for this position is $2,705.35 including Construction Allowance.
