We are currently seeking applications for a Labourer to join our Parks team. The labourer assists with the maintenance of Council parks, gardens and public open spaces by undertaking general labouring and truck driving duties.
About the position
This position is suited for someone who enjoys the outdoors and maintaining gardens and open spaces. The successful applicant will be required to safely operate plant and equipment including mowers, line trimmers, leaf blowers, hedgers etc. This will include the completion of plant defect reports and routine scheduled maintenance, as necessary.
The Labourer will also be required to use initiative, work efficiently and effectively to achieve set goals. Being safety conscious is essential, as the Labourer need to ensure the necessary measures are in place when working in the public open spaces.

The gross fortnightly wage for this position is $2,719.22 including Construction Allowance.
