Full TimeSalary Package: $126,859 per annum plus super
We’re seeking a proactive Project Officer to support the delivery of our Strategic Projects and Infrastructure
Capital Works program. Working closely with the Project Manager and City Projects team, you’ll help take
infrastructure projects from concept through to completion—ensuring quality outcomes, strong stakeholder
relationships, and best-practice project management every step of the way.
What you'll be doing:
In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in ensuring the City meets its statutory, contractual, and best-
practice obligations. You will work across the organisation to embed effective risk management frameworks,
administer internal audit programs, conduct investigations, and coordinate insurance management functions.
What you'll bring:
• Support and lead assigned infrastructure and capital works projects from planning to delivery
• Coordinate project administration, reporting, budgets, contracts and procurement
• Liaise with internal teams, consultants, contractors, government agencies and community stakeholders
• Contribute to feasibility studies, funding applications and future capital planning
• Assist with tender processes, contract administration and project working groups
• Ensure projects align with Council policies, budgets, timelines and safety standards
