About the position:

The City of Greater Geraldton is seeking a QPT Team Leader to guide this iconic 600-seat venue into

its next chapter. This role will champion operational and financial sustainability while driving the vision

of a dynamic performing arts centre that celebrates creativity, culture and storytelling—inviting

everyone to participate, enjoy and be inspired.

Key accountabilities:

• Responsible for the day to day running of all aspects of the Queens Park Theatre to ensure all

scheduled programs are delivered to the highest standard.

• Oversee and manage the QPT team ensuring adequate number of staff with suitable

qualifications Monitor, review and report the performance of Queens Park Theatre in relation

to Business Plan and Marketing Plan KPIs, financial and cultural outcomes and objectives on

an ongoing basis.

• Lead the process for selection of theatre content by ensuring ongoing awareness of trends

and opportunities.

Position requirements:

Founded in 1982, Queens Park Theatre stands as the cultural heart of Geraldton, presenting an

impressive array of performances and events. From live music and theatre, both amateur and

professional, to conferences, film screenings, local dance showcases and even live boxing

championships on stage, QPT is a vibrant hub of creativity and community connection.

The City is seeking expressions of interest from leaders who bring:

• Strong operational and commercial acumen

• A proven ability to secure and manage diverse funding streams

• Experience leading people and overseeing effective operational systems

• The capability to work collaboratively within local government and with key community and

business stakeholders

of all positions at the City.Remuneration and benefits:

The QPT Team Leader position has a salary starting from $94,452 per annum or $47.7998 per hour,

offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
