Senior Assets and Information Systems Officer

• Salary: Band 7 - $106,557.18 to $118,949.67 + superannuation

The opportunity

As the Senior Assets and Information Systems Officer, you’ll be the trusted custodian of Council’s Confirm asset management system, supporting the lifecycle of community infrastructure. Working closely within a collaborative, close-knit team, you’ll ensure asset data is accurate, compliant and future focused. You'll be working on registers, valuations, reporting and predictive modelling, ensuring data integrity and creating strong relationships with finance, contractors and internal stakeholders. What you’ll be doing

• Administer and optimise the Confirm asset management system across the full asset lifecycle
• Maintain accurate asset registers, GIS layers and asset condition data
• Develop predictive modelling to inform renewal programs and long term budgets
• Manage asset data inputs from contractors, audits and capital works handovers
• Coordinate asset valuations and liaise with Finance and external auditors
• Develop asset management reports, including state of assets and compliance reports

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, GIS or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience administering Confirm (highly desirable)
• Substantial asset management system experience within local government or large organisations
• Experience with asset registers, valuations, capitalisation and maintenance processes
• High‑level data, analytical and reporting capability
• Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
